In the current configuration, the entire K8s cluster runs on the PowerEdge T640. The system would be more configurable and resilient if the control planes were running on a separate system. Use libvirt tools to export alpha-control-plane to poweredge-r350.

Additional RAM is required in the R350 before this can be done.

Additional RAM has been installed. The following procedure should be followed:

  1. Copy alpha-control-plane to an external drive
  2. Disable alpha-control-plane autostart on T640
  3. Shutdown T640
  4. Boot R350
  5. Copy alpha-control-plane to R350
  6. Boot alpha-control-plane with autostart
  7. Boot T640
