It has been announced that Debian 13 will become available on August 9th, 2025. This ticket will track upgrading all systems to the latest version. This includes the following:

  • Latitude 7230
  • Inspiron 3670
  • PowerEdge R350
  • PowerEdge R720
  • PowerEdge T640
    • alpha cluster vms

Debian 13 Upgrade & Release Party

In this video I upgrade my Dell Inspiron 3670 from Debian 12 Bookworm to Debian 13 Trixie. While the update executes, I also attend the US Pacific Release Party, where we discuss the upgrade, Debian, Arch Linux, package managers, and other open source software. As I mention in the video, I hesitate to upgrade my PowerEdge servers and virtual machines at this point in time. This ticket will remain open until all machines have been upgraded.
